About me
I am Hans Kwaspen, a passionate freelance photographer who transforms everyday scenes into enchanting artworks. My approach to abstract, travel, and landscape photography reveals the hidden beauty in the everyday and the unexpected.
As an abstract art photographer, I explore the boundary between reality and abstraction by capturing shapes, textures, and patterns. Inspired by greats from abstract art, I combine spontaneous brushstrokes and raw emotions with the strict precision of geometric compositions. This results in a unique mix that feels both orderly and chaotic, and both complex and intuitive.

My photography invites the viewer to embark on a journey of discovery. By using unconventional compositions, shadows, and innovative approaches to space and light, I create images that are both visually appealing and intellectually challenging. Each work is a reflection on the essence of perception and reality, encouraging the viewer to look beyond the visible surface.
My work reflects a calm, introspective approach to minimalism while simultaneously capturing the grandeur of the modern world. My photos are a subtle combination of influences, where I find balance between spontaneity and precision, emotion and form.
I strive to convey the wonder and contemplation I experience while photographing to you, the viewer. Let yourself be carried away by the serene simplicity and powerful aesthetics of my images, and discover new perspectives on the world around you.
Through my lens, I aim to capture the true essence of moments and objects, going beyond superficial perfection to tell a story of growth, decay, and renewal. My goal is to show others how to live in harmony with nature and embrace the power of temporary beauty.
